                                                                                                                                                                            TRANSITIONS
In the beginning…Children and Parents are encouraged to tour Little Critters Early Learning Center and visit their perspective classroom.  This will provide opportunity to meet the Teachers, gather useful information, ask questions and see the program in action.  The Administrator will give the tour, explain program and policies, discuss curriculum and assessments, get to know the parents and the personality and developmental level of the child.  Tours are scheduled to best accommodate the family’s needs.  Little Critters Early Learning Center understands that starting a new Childcare Center is sometimes a bit challenging for children and families but we will do everything within our power to make the transition a smooth one for all concerned. Separation issues are handled on an individual basis.  Teachers and Parents will work together on an acceptable way to help their child make the transition to Little Critters Early Learning Center or into a new classroom as smoothly as possible. * If the child is inconsolable, a call home may be the solution for the day. As your child grows with Little Critters Early Learning Center they will transition to the next classroom after assessments are completed and a plan of action for said transition is done between Parents, Child, Teachers and Administrator.
