Ahi Poke Recipe

A quick, delicious ahi poke dish! Mahi poke can be served as an appetiser or in sushi bowls.

– 1 pound sushi-grade ahi tuna fillet chopped into 1/4-inch to 1/2 inch cube – 2 cloves garlic minced – 1 tablespoon fresh ginger grated – 2 tablespoons sesame oil* – 2 tablespoons coconut aminos** – 2 tablespoons rice vinegar – 1 tablespoon red chili sauce such as sriracha to taste – 2 teaspoons agave nectar – 2 teaspoons sesame seed – sea salt

Stir the marinade ingredients (except the tuna) in a bowl until well blended (or puree in a small blender).

Stir chopped ahi into the marinade bowl. Serve immediately or chill until ready.

Replace sesame oil with olive oil if desired
