Almond Flour Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars Recipe

Almond Flour Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars are grain-free and refined sugar-free but taste like chocolate chip cookies. Delicious chewy cookie bars! 


– ½ cup (113g) unsalted butter 1 stick, softened – ⅓ cup (80ml) pure maple syrup* – 1 large egg – 1 tsp vanilla extract – 1 ⅔ cups (160g) finely ground almond flour – ½ tsp baking soda – 1/2 tsp sea salt – 1 cup (180g) chocolate chips**

Line an 8" x 8" square baking dish with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 350°F.Mix butter, pure maple syrup, and vanilla extract in a stand mixer with the paddle attachment.

Or, use a large bowl and hand mixer. Mix egg and scrape bowl sides. The stand mixer needs almond flour, baking soda, and sea salt. Mix to thick dough.

Beat chocolate chips into dough on medium speed until evenly distributed. Evenly distribute cookie dough on the pan. 

Step 3

Bake the cookie bars on the centre rack of the preheated oven for 18–22 minutes until done and slightly golden brown around the edges. I bake 20 minutes.  

Step 4

Cookie bars are chewier at 18 minutes, crispier at 22.Serve sliced cookie bars after 15 minutes of cooling.
