Creamy Tomato Tuna Pasta Bake Recipe

Creamy Tomato Tuna Pasta Bake is filling, healthy, and affordable. For busy weeknight dinners, this one-pot meal can be ready in 20 minutes. 

– 2 ½ cups uncooked penne or other pasta – 14 oz can of tuna in oil  – 8-12 cherry tomatoes or plum tomatoe – ½ cup black or mixed olives  – 2 teaspoon dried oregano – 1 tablespoon olive oil – 1 teaspoon garlic powder or 2 garlic cloves minced – 1 ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese or grated cheddar – 14 oz Marinara  – Black pepper to taste – Fresh basil leave

As directed on the package, boil the pasta until it's al dente. To the pasta water, add one tablespoon of oil.

After the pasta is cooked, add tuna, marinara sauce, garlic powder, 1 teaspoon oregano, and cooked pasta to a large mixing bowl.

In a 9 x 13-inch baking dish, layer half the pasta mix, half the cheese, another pasta layer, and olives and tomatoes.

Finally, top with a layer of the remaining cheese and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of oregano.

Bake until the cheese is thoroughly melted, about 20 minutes, at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Add more oregano and fresh herbs as garnish.
