Easy Beef Lasagna

This beef lasagna brings the comforts of homemade Italian food. A symphony of flavours and textures awaits each bite of this timeless classic, layered with rich, meaty marinara, creamy ricotta, and melted mozzarella.

– 1 pound ground beef – 1 small onion  – 2 tablespoon oregano – ½ teaspoon salt  – ½ teaspoon pepper – 24 ounce marinara sauce  – 1 cup water – 15 ounce ricotta cheese – 2 egg – ½ cup Parmesan cheese  – 12 lasagna noodle – 2 cups mozzarella cheese

Pre-heat your oven to 375℉. Cook ground beef for 5-7 minutes in a medium saucepan until no longer pink.

Add the diced onion, a tablespoon of dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook until the onion is soft and translucent, about 5 minutes more.

Add marinara and a cup of water to this mixture. Mix well, boil, and remove from heat.

The process should take 10 minutes. Mix ricotta cheese, the remaining tablespoon of dried oregano, eggs, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper in a bowl while your sauce cools.

Blend these well. Time to assemble lasagna. For a 9x13 inch baking dish, layer meat sauce first.

Place three noodles of lasagna over the sauce, cover with a portion of the cheese mixture, and top with mozzarella.

Continue layering noodles in this manner until you've used them all, then top with a final layer of mozzarella and cheese mixture.

After assembling your lasagna, put it in the oven and bake for about an hour.

When the noodles are thoroughly cooked, test with a fork, take them out of the oven, and let them rest for about 15 minutes before serving.
