Jasmine Rice Recipe

You can cook perfect Jasmine Rice. With my simple recipe, you'll get fluffy, delicious rice that complements your meals.  

– 1 cup Jasmine rice – 1¾ cups water – ½ teaspoon salt – 1 tablespoon unsalted butter



Add unrinsed Jasmine rice to a medium pot. Pour 1¾ cups of water into the pot. As we don't rinse the rice, we use more water.

Heat your pot on high on the stove. Bring water to boil. It should be monitored to avoid boiling.

After boiling, lower the heat and cover the pot with a tight lid. Simmer rice for 15 minutes. Avoid peeking!

This extra time helps the rice settle and mature. Serve rice gently fluffed with a fork.
