Tandoori Chicken Recipe

This Baked Tandoori Chicken is healthful and tasty Indian food you can make at home. Made from scratch, oven-baked, and excellent for weeknights!  

– 1¼ teaspoon chili powder – 1 teaspoon paprika – 2 teaspoon lemon juice – ¼ teaspoon salt – ½ cup yogurt  – 2 cloves garlic – 1 teaspoon ginger – 2 teaspoons chili powder – ½ teaspoon pepper – 1 teaspoon garam masala – 1 teaspoon coriander powder – ½ teaspoon cumin powder – 3 tablespoons lemon juice – 4 tablespoons olive oil – 1 teaspoon salt – 2 drops red gel food coloring

Chicken must be cleaned and dried. Cut chicken breasts in half. Cut deep chicken slits with a knife.

Combine all of the ingredients for the wet rub in a small dish and mix them together to produce a paste.

A thin layer of the rub should be spread in between the slits, and if there is any remaining, it should be applied to the entire chicken breast.

All of the marinade ingredients should be mixed together in a basin of medium size using a whisk.

Make sure all of the chicken breasts are completely coated by adding the chicken to the marinade-filled dish and mixing thoroughly.

Place plastic wrap over the bowl and place it in the refrigerator for a few hours. Set the oven to 400°F.

Prepare a grill rack by placing it on top of a baking sheet that has been lined with aluminium foil.

Take the chicken breasts and arrange them on the grill rack, making sure to leave some space between each individual piece.

Cook the chicken in the oven for half an hour. After fifteen minutes, put some butter on each piece and brush it on.

Turn the chicken pieces over, brush with extra butter, and bake for 15 minutes after 30 minutes. Serve with lemon slices and parsley.
